<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Popeyes has opened four locations in the Margo City mall, Supermal Karawaci, Skyline, and Kelapa Gading, across from Jabodetabek. The brand intends to increase its market share by opening 300 restaurants nationwide.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Popeyes, one of the world&#8217;s largest chicken quick-service restaurant chains, was established in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1972. With more than 3900+ restaurants globally, Popeyes has carved out a niche for itself with its authentic Louisiana food in more than 30 countries. The brand is based on a 300-year-old culinary history that combines various ingredients, spices, and cooking styles.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The company is currently in Gujarat, Delhi, Maharashtra, and Kerala through offline retail. It sells primarily online through its website and platforms, including Bigbasket, Nykaa, Amazon, Flipkart, and Purplle.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“In today’s beauty landscape, brands need an omnichannel approach. This strategic alliance with Believe is going to help us with distribution and scale not only within India but in international markets as well, thus ensuring that a new and much larger segment of Halal and vegan consumers get to experience the brand,” said Mauli Teli, CEO, Iba Cosmetics.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With its headquarters in Singapore, Believe Pte Ltd manages a range of brands in the health and beauty market. Since its inception in 2019, Believe Pte has raised $80 million from investors, including Accel, Jungle Ventures, IIFL, and Venturi Partners, for its expansion. The company currently distributes its products in 9 countries, including India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar. It manufactures its vegan and Halal-certified products in 10 countries, including Korea, India, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, France, Spain, and Germany.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">To produce and market high-end furniture, Gautam Baid founded Sunday Design in 2021. According to the company, it has expanded at a 10% monthly rate since its inception.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“We are grateful for the trust of our new and existing investors, who have encouraged us to harness this vision and make a greater impact. With this investment, we intend to collaborate with top European designers and grow our footprint in an omnichannel format by introducing product lines on a strategic basis,” said Baid, founder of Sunday Design.</p>

With this, the Ginger brand expands its market share in India&#8217;s financial capital. The hotel was designed with the brand&#8217;s lean luxe design and service philosophy, providing guests with a vibrant, contemporary, and seamless hospitality experience.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With 102 rooms, the re-imagined Ginger Goregaon is strategically located off the Western Express Highway. It has easy access to NESCO IT Park, the NESCO Exhibition Centre (Bombay Exhibition Centre) and Film City. The hotel features Ginger&#8217;s newly designed signature rooms, a fitness centre and an all-day diner.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Goregaon, a significant commercial and residential area of Mumbai, is home to numerous shopping centres, industrial zones, and corporate and IT parks. It is particularly well-known among tourists for the Aarey Colony, a famous urban forest extension of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park.&nbsp;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The company&#8217;s objective to emerge as a tech-enabled multi-modal logistics network is reflected in the logo, which echoes the brand name &#8216;Smartr Logistics.&#8217;&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the process, the visual brand identity symbolises the link and outlines the chain of trust and trustworthiness. According to a press statement, it&#8217;s a play on the phrase &#8220;direct connections, minimal diversions,&#8221; emphasising the brand&#8217;s direct connectedness with technology.&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Smartr has unveiled a new website that reflects its innovative products, unique solutions, the business culture, etc.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Beerud Sheth, co-founder, and chief executive officer, Gupshup, said, &#8220;This new brand identity is an evolution of our core vision. We remain committed to helping businesses engage one-on-one with consumers, at scale, through conversations that are both real and human. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Farzi Cafe, Zorawar Kalra&#8217;s Massive Restaurant brand, just announced its entry in the United States, with the first outlet set to open in the summer of 2022. Farzi already has a restaurant in North America located in Mississauga, Ontario.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8220;Our Canada restaurant is doing incredible numbers. It&#8217;s one of the busiest restaurants in our system and that gave us a lot of confidence,&#8221; Kalra said.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">They had already finalized preparations for their US foray and the first location—which Kalra refused to reveal—even before their Canada restaurant debuted.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8220;With the Canadian outlet open, we&#8217;ve gotten more confident that the North American market is hungry for an internationally-acclaimed Indian brand. And that&#8217;s why we&#8217;re excited about the US and are looking at four restaurants in the first 18 to 24 months. The first one will be open by summer of this year, and the second one will be opening six to eight months after that,&#8221; he said.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8220;Now we&#8217;re looking for a talented chef with great innovation, great exposure and a deep understanding of authentic Indian food to come and lead the entire North American expansion,&#8221; he added.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Given the difficulty of obtaining visas, Kalra said his company was already in talks with candidates in India and North America.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8220;In Canada, we opened four months ago, and the phone has been ringing off the hook and we are already in advanced stages of discussion for other units, given the success of our restaurant. We had a meeting with a very large food group, which is not in Indian food, but they love Farzi, and they think there&#8217;s a huge potential for the brand in Canada,&#8221; he said.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8220;The American market is also something that we&#8217;re now looking at taking more seriously than others, because it&#8217;s probably the largest market in the world, and Indian food is woefully underrepresented there, especially from a chain perspective. There are no chain restaurants in our gourmet casual category,&#8221; Kalra said, adding, &#8220;I believe in the power of Indian food. I believe once it&#8217;s exposed to anyone&#8217;s palate, they will fall in love with it immediately. And I think that is exactly what is driving us and giving us the confidence, not our work, not the brand power—it is the power of the food itself&#8221;.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Imagine Marketing Limited, the business behind boAt, has announced that TeleTalk Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Ramesh Corp (a Nepalese firm), will be the national distributor of Imagine&#8217;s products in Nepal.&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The firm&#8217;s partnership would enable the companies to address customers&#8217; shifting expectations by producing high-quality and aspirational lifestyle-focused hearable, and wearable devices in the developing Nepalese market.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8220;It is an important step for us as we strive to put an Indian brand on the global map,&#8221; said Vivek Gambhir, CEO, Imagine Marketing Limited.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Through BoAt Labs, Imagine Marketing Limited has made considerable efforts in building its platforms, including design, product research and development, and technological collaborations.&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dixon Technologies Limited recently formed a joint venture to manufacture and develop Bluetooth-enabled hearables and other electronic products.</p>
