Saraca Hotels & Resorts partners with Hyatt for four-property expansion in North India

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has signed agreements with Saraca Hotels & Resorts to introduce four Hyatt-branded hotels across Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, strengthening its hospitality presence in North India.

Under the partnership, Saraca Hotel Lucknow and Saraca Resort & Spa Corbett are expected to join Hyatt’s Unscripted by Hyatt brand. Additionally, the collaboration includes plans to develop two new properties near Jim Corbett National Park under the Destination by Hyatt and Hyatt Place brands.

Commenting on the development, Vikas Chawla, President, India & Southwest Asia, Hyatt, said, “India remains one of Hyatt’s most important growth markets globally, and we continue to see strong opportunities in destinations that offer distinctive experiences and a deep connection to culture and community.”

He added, “From the rich heritage and culinary traditions of Lucknow to the extraordinary natural beauty of Corbett, these destinations embody the diversity of experiences travellers are seeking today.”

Located on the outskirts of Corbett Tiger Reserve, Saraca Resort & Spa Corbett spans nine acres and features 44 rooms and suites. The property offers wellness facilities, dining venues, and nature-based experiences designed to connect guests with the surrounding wildlife and natural landscape.

Meanwhile, Saraca Hotel Lucknow, situated on Mall Avenue, features 41 rooms and offers distinctive dining options alongside experiences centred on the city’s cultural heritage.

Sharing his views on the partnership, Mohammad Abdullah, Founder, Saraca Hotels & Resorts, said, “Saraca began with a simple belief that hospitality should reflect the character, culture, and spirit of the destinations it calls home.”

He further added, “Our collaboration with Hyatt marks an exciting new chapter in that journey.”

The upcoming Destination by Hyatt property near Jim Corbett will feature approximately 111 accommodation units, comprising villas, suites, and residences. The development aims to offer guests a distinctive stay experience while highlighting the destination’s natural surroundings.

Additionally, Hyatt Place Jim Corbett Mohaan will offer approximately 70 guest rooms, along with dining facilities, meeting spaces, a fitness centre and recreational amenities. The property is expected to cater to leisure travellers as well as corporate guests.

The latest agreements reflect Hyatt’s continued expansion across India’s hospitality markets, with a focus on destinations that combine tourism potential, cultural heritage, and nature-based experiences.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation operates a global portfolio of more than 1,500 hotels and all-inclusive properties across 83 countries on six continents, as of June 30, 2026.
