TVS ILP to invest Rs 1,000-Crore in Tamil Nadu projects

TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) on Tuesday announced plans to invest Rs 1,000 crore in upcoming projects across Tamil Nadu, strengthening its presence in the state’s industrial and logistics infrastructure market.

The proposed investment is part of an initial pact signed with the Tamil Nadu government at the VETTRI Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026. According to the company, the investment is expected to create around 1,500 job opportunities while supporting industrial and logistics infrastructure for businesses and supply chains across the state.

The investment commitment comes as Tamil Nadu continues to attract investments across key sectors and districts. The conclave brought together commitments spanning multiple industries, highlighting the state’s focus on accelerating industrial development and employment generation.

TVS ILP said the continued expansion of industrial activity across Tamil Nadu is increasing demand for modern, strategically located infrastructure capable of supporting businesses at different stages of their growth.

The company also noted that Tamil Nadu is pursuing its ambition of becoming a USD 1.5 trillion economy by 2036. In this context, Grade-A industrial and logistics parks are expected to play an important role in enabling new capacity, improving supply-chain efficiency and supporting businesses across emerging growth centres.

Tamil Nadu has already emerged as a key market for TVS ILP. The company currently has 10 industrial and logistics parks established across the state, serving leading brands in the e-commerce, automobile, FMCG, and FMCD sectors.

Commenting on the investment, Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director, TVS ILP, said, “Our Rs 1,000 crore investment reflects the opportunities we see emerging across the state and our intent to be a tech-enabled infrastructure partner to businesses expanding their operations here.”

Subramaniam said the company will continue developing assets that meet global standards while remaining responsive to the changing requirements of occupiers.

“Through this approach, we aim to support businesses as they expand and contribute to the next phase of industrial growth across the state,” he said.

The planned investment adds to TVS ILP’s established presence in Tamil Nadu and comes as industrial expansion, supply-chain requirements, and demand for Grade-A infrastructure continue to shape the state’s logistics ecosystem. The proposed projects are expected to contribute to both employment generation and the development of infrastructure needed to support businesses across emerging growth centres.
