Sumi Yashshree Hotels & Resorts has announced the upcoming opening of Yashshree GD Garden Resort, a new five-star hospitality destination on Jollang Road in Papu Nallah, Naharlagun, Itanagar.
Spread across 13 acres of landscaped grounds, the resort will feature 45 rooms and cater to leisure travellers, families, business guests, and visitors attending weddings, conferences, and social celebrations.
The property will also offer extensive event facilities. These will include a 6,000 sq. ft. banquet hall, a 2,500 sq. ft. conference room, an 800 sq. ft. boardroom, and a 10,000 sq. ft. outdoor lawn. In addition, the resort plans to provide parking for more than 100 vehicles.
For leisure and dining, guests will have access to a restaurant, bar, and swimming pool. The resort aims to serve as a convenient base for travellers visiting Itanagar for leisure, business, cultural experiences, and events.

The upcoming launch marks another step in the group’s expansion across eastern and northeastern India. Sumi Yashshree Hotels & Resorts currently operates properties across destinations including Darjeeling, Gangtok, Kalimpong, Lachung, Lachen, Pelling, Siliguri, Vizag, Araku, and Digboi.
With its combination of accommodation, dining, leisure facilities, and large event spaces, Yashshree GD Garden Resort will add a new hospitality offering to the Itanagar market. The company will announce the official opening date and booking details shortly.
