Beauty and fashion retailer Nykaa will acquire a 51% stake in Mumbai-based skincare brand Aminu for Rs 32 crore, according to a stock exchange filing.
The acquisition strengthens Nykaa’s presence in the premium skincare segment as the company continues to expand its portfolio through strategic investments in high-growth beauty brands.
Nykaa said Aminu, which offers skincare products including serums and sleep oils, operates in a “sizeable high growth segment.”
The company further stated, “It is among the top premium skincare brands on Nykaa.com in the Rs 1,000-1,900 price range.”
Founded as a bootstrapped business, Aminu reported Rs 19 crore in revenue in FY26, compared with Rs 13 crore in FY25, reflecting continued growth in its business.
The transaction highlights Nykaa’s focus on strengthening its premium beauty portfolio by investing in emerging brands with strong consumer demand. The move also reflects growing investor confidence in India’s premium skincare market, where consumers are increasingly seeking high-quality and specialised beauty products.
With the acquisition of a majority stake in Aminu, Nykaa is set to expand its presence in the fast-growing premium skincare segment. The investment is expected to support Aminu’s next phase of growth while further strengthening Nykaa’s position in India’s beauty and personal care market.
