Tech-enabled capsule hotel startup NapTapGo has raised ₹8 crore in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) to accelerate its expansion across India through a capital-efficient co-investment model with local partners.
The startup currently operates more than 130 capsule pods across Noida, Amritsar, and Katra, serving over 10,000 guests. Its Katra property holds the distinction of being Asia’s highest-altitude pod hotel, while its Amritsar outlet is the city’s largest pod hotel.
Additionally, NapTapGo gained nationwide recognition after appearing on Shark Tank India Season 5. The company has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HPCL to explore the development of capsule hotels at highway transit locations.
NapTapGo offers travelers a flexible accommodation model that allows guests to pay only for the hours they stay. Furthermore, the startup provides flexible check-in timings and affordable, hygienic lodging designed for business travelers, pilgrims, solo travelers, and transit passengers.
Founder & CEO Nitin Malhotra said the newly raised capital will enable the company to expand its footprint while maintaining operational efficiency and delivering a consistent guest experience. The startup plans to grow through a combination of company-owned properties and co-invested franchise units.
According to Inflection Point Ventures, the investment reflects the rising demand for clean, affordable, and flexible accommodation as domestic travel continues to grow across India. Moreover, mature NapTapGo properties have already achieved occupancy levels of up to 80%, highlighting the scalability of its business model.
Founded by Nitin Malhotra and Himanshu Shukla, NapTapGo aims to establish a trusted nationwide brand in the affordable hospitality segment by leveraging technology and a standardized capsule hotel model.
