Journey, a hospitality retailing platform and provider of a unified Hospitality Performance Platform, has partnered with hospitality technology consultancy Mastel Hospitality to help hotels streamline technology integration and optimise operational performance across their existing systems.
The collaboration expands Journey’s global partner ecosystem by enabling hotels to implement, integrate and optimise the platform more effectively within their technology infrastructure, particularly in Oracle Hospitality environments.
Rather than focusing solely on conventional technology integrations, the partnership adopts a consultancy-led approach. Mastel Hospitality will support hotels in connecting systems, organising data flows and embedding Journey into both operational and commercial processes.
Mastel Hospitality brings extensive experience in system architecture, technology implementation and business intelligence. Through the partnership, Journey expects customers to benefit from faster deployments, stronger system integrations and improved performance across their technology ecosystems.
As hotel technology infrastructures become increasingly sophisticated, the need for specialised integration partners continues to grow. Journey said the collaboration will enable hotels to maximise the value of their existing technology investments without creating additional operational complexity.
Commenting on the partnership, Simon Bullingham, CEO and Founder of Journey, said, “The right technology can empower teams to deliver great guest experiences. We are committed to supporting our integrations because that collaboration is critical to success. Mastel’s deep expertise ensures that these can be seamlessly deployed and connected in a way that unlocks value for our clients.”
Rafael Godoy, co-CEO of Mastel Hospitality, said, “For two decades we’ve helped hotels get more from the systems they’ve already invested in, and Journey is one of the most compelling platforms to enter luxury hospitality in that time. This is a natural partnership: their platform, our delivery, the hotel’s results.”
Anibal Merlo, co-CEO of Mastel Hospitality, added, “Every hotel has a bigger version of itself waiting to emerge: more personal service, stronger revenue, and experiences guests remember for years. With a platform like Journey and the right guidance behind it, that version stops being a dream and becomes a plan. We want hotels to dare to imagine what they could be, and then we help them build it.”
The companies will initially focus on supporting joint customers across Europe, with particular emphasis on Oracle Hospitality ecosystems.
The partnership between Journey and Mastel Hospitality reflects the hospitality industry’s increasing focus on integrated technology ecosystems that improve operational efficiency and guest experiences. By combining Journey’s performance platform with Mastel’s implementation and consultancy expertise, the companies aim to help hotels unlock greater value from their existing technology investments across Europe.
