Home appliances maker Atomberg Technologies Ltd has taken a step towards going public after filing preliminary papers with markets regulator Sebi for an initial public offering (IPO).
The proposed IPO includes a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to Rs 450 crore, along with an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 7.65 crore equity shares, according to the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) filed on Thursday.
As part of the OFS, A91 Partners, Temasek-backed V-Sciences Investments, Jungle Ventures, Inflexor, Steadview Capital Mauritius, and Survam Partners LLP will sell their shares.
Atomberg Technologies plans to allocate Rs 150 crore from the fresh issue towards brand awareness and performance marketing. In addition, the company intends to invest Rs 100 crore in research and development.
Another Rs 90 crore from the fresh proceeds will be used to repay or prepay certain borrowings. The remaining funds will be deployed for general corporate purposes.
Founded by Manoj Meena in 2012, Atomberg added Sibabrata Das as a co-founder in 2013. The company develops technology-led consumer appliances under the Atomberg brand, including mixer grinders, water purifiers, and cold-pressed juicers.
The company’s subsidiary, Atomberg Innovations Pvt Ltd, designs and supplies proprietary components such as motors and controllers to enterprise customers. Its customers include Voltas, Godrej, and Blue Star.
Atomberg operates across two business segments: consumer appliances and proprietary components. The company currently runs two leased manufacturing facilities in Pune, Maharashtra, supporting both its consumer appliances and proprietary components businesses.
The proposed IPO comes as Atomberg has expanded its operating revenue over recent financial years. Revenue from operations increased to Rs 1,293.77 crore in FY2026 from Rs 796.98 crore in FY2024.
At the same time, the company’s loss narrowed to Rs 149 crore in FY2026 from Rs 199 crore in FY2024. The financial performance provides context for Atomberg’s plans to strengthen brand-building, product development, and its balance sheet through the fresh issue.
The IPO will therefore provide Atomberg with capital for both growth initiatives and financial obligations, while the OFS will allow existing investors to sell part of their holdings.
ICICI Securities, Avendus Capital, and IIFL Capital Services will serve as the book-running lead managers for the issue.
With the DRHP now filed with Sebi, Atomberg has moved closer to a potential public-market debut. The proposed Rs 450 crore fresh issue expects to support brand awareness, research and development, and debt repayment, while the company continues to expand its technology-led consumer appliances and proprietary components businesses.
