AI commerce startup Zave secures ₹4.7-Cr to strengthen AI-powered shopping assistant platform

AI-powered shopping assistant startup Zave has raised ₹4.7 crore in a bridge funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), with participation from Mucker Capital. The funding will help the company strengthen its artificial intelligence capabilities, improve platform performance, and support the next phase of growth in India’s rapidly expanding e-commerce ecosystem.

Founded by Hiren Patel and Ravi Kumar, Zave operates an AI-native commerce assistant that enables consumers to compare products, explore alternatives, and make informed purchase decisions across multiple online shopping platforms. The platform integrates with Amazon, Flipkart, and more than 5,000 brand websites and applications, allowing shoppers to access personalized recommendations, product insights, and deals based on real-time intent analysis.

The company plans to utilize the newly raised capital to enhance its AI-powered product offerings, improve scalability, increase platform reliability, and advance its commerce intelligence engine. As competition intensifies in the online retail sector, Zave aims to simplify the shopping journey by helping consumers find the most relevant products and offers quickly.

“The next wave requires rethinking how people discover, consume, and act on information in an AI-first world, a challenge far more complex than it appears, especially in a fragmented and fiercely competitive industry like commerce,” said Patel.

Zave has already achieved significant traction in the market. The company reported more than 500,000 installs and serves over 50,000 daily active users. In addition, its recommendation engine currently facilitates more than ₹15 crore in monthly commerce transactions, highlighting growing consumer adoption of AI-driven shopping solutions.

Industry experts believe artificial intelligence will play a pivotal role in transforming digital commerce by improving personalization and reducing friction in the customer journey.

“The online shopping ecosystem has become increasingly cluttered with consumers constantly switching between platforms to compare products, prices, and reviews,” said Mitesh Shah, co-founder at IPV. “Zave is addressing this challenge by using AI to understand shopper intent in real time.”

India’s e-commerce market currently stands at approximately $130 billion and serves more than 270 million mobile-first shoppers. As digital adoption continues to rise, AI-powered commerce platforms such as Zave are well-positioned to capitalize on increasing demand for smarter product discovery, personalized recommendations, and seamless online shopping experiences.
