Accor has announced the signing of Novotel Lucknow Convention Centre, Golf City, further strengthening its meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) portfolio in India. Scheduled to open in 2031, the 160-key hotel will feature nearly 4,000 sq. m. of banqueting and event space, reinforcing Lucknow’s emergence as a key destination for business events, conventions, and social gatherings.
The upcoming hotel will rise within the rapidly developing Golf City–Ekana corridor, one of Lucknow’s fastest-growing commercial and lifestyle hubs. Thanks to its strategic location, the property will offer convenient access to major institutional centres, residential communities, the airport, and the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium.
Moreover, the hotel will cater to a diverse mix of guests, including business travellers, MICE delegates, sports teams, leisure visitors, and transit travellers. To support these segments, the property will combine contemporary accommodation with a wide range of dining, wellness, and social experiences.
The hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant and bar, creating a vibrant culinary destination for guests. Additionally, visitors will have access to recreational amenities such as a swimming pool, spa, and fitness centre. These offerings align with Novotel’s global focus on balanced dining, wellness, and contemporary hospitality experiences.
Commenting on the signing, Ranju Alex, CEO, South Asia, Accor, said, “Lucknow is rapidly emerging as a key commercial and lifestyle destination, with the Golf City–Ekana corridor evolving into one of the city’s most dynamic growth hubs. Strategically located and supported by robust MICE infrastructure and contemporary hospitality offerings, the hotel is well-positioned to meet the growing needs of business, sports, and leisure travellers alike.”
Furthermore, Alex emphasized that the property’s strategic location, convention facilities, and hospitality offerings will enable it to effectively serve the evolving requirements of business travellers, sports teams, and leisure guests visiting the city.
Highlighting the partnership, Dhiraj Amarnani, Director, and Kunal Amarnani, VP Hospitality, Amarnani Promoters Group, said, “We are delighted to partner with Accor to bring the globally recognised Novotel brand to Lucknow’s emerging Golf City district. The development forms an important part of Accor’s broader expansion strategy in India, which focuses on high-growth secondary markets and emerging urban centres. As a result, the company expects the project to contribute significantly to Lucknow’s evolving hospitality ecosystem while supporting the increasing demand for convention facilities, corporate events, and large-scale social gatherings.
In addition, the project highlights Accor’s long-term confidence in India’s hospitality sector and the growing demand for quality accommodation and event infrastructure across emerging cities.
