Aranyak Resorts expands hospitality footprint across Madhya Pradesh

Campfire Hotels & Resorts Pvt. Ltd., which operates under the Aranyak Resorts brand, is planning to expand its hospitality portfolio across Madhya Pradesh and neighbouring markets, with projects spanning wildlife tourism, riverside wellness, and urban hospitality.

With more than 15 years of experience in developing and operating resorts across Madhya Pradesh’s wildlife destinations, the company is now looking to enter new locations and diversify into additional hospitality segments.

As part of its wildlife tourism expansion strategy, Aranyak Resorts is preparing to enter Sanjay Dubri Tiger Reserve and Satpura Tiger Reserve. These proposed properties will strengthen its presence across Madhya Pradesh’s wildlife tourism circuit.

Additionally, the company is developing a spa property along the banks of the Narmada River in Narmadapuram. The project will cater to wellness and leisure travellers, with operations scheduled to commence in January.

Beyond wildlife and leisure tourism, Campfire Hotels & Resorts is planning new properties in Bhopal and Nagpur, while Ujjain also features in its expansion roadmap. These developments will help the company attract a wider customer base, including urban guests, business visitors, leisure travellers and pilgrims.

Another major development under consideration is a proposed ₹100 crore riverside resort in the Chambal region of the Gwalior division. The company has submitted an investment proposal to the Government of Madhya Pradesh for the project, which will feature a riverside hospitality offering along the Chambal River.

However, the project remains at the proposal stage, with its development subject to the necessary approvals and regulatory processes.

Overall, Campfire Hotels & Resorts’ expansion plans cover Sanjay Dubri, Satpura, Narmadapuram, Bhopal, Nagpur, Ujjain, and the proposed Chambal resort. Through these developments, the company aims to diversify its hospitality portfolio across wildlife tourism, wellness, leisure, and urban accommodation.

The expansion strategy also complements Madhya Pradesh’s diverse tourism landscape, which includes wildlife reserves, heritage destinations, pilgrimage centres and river-based experiences.
