dubdub, a swipe-based trivia and puzzle application, has raised $1.3 million in a seed funding round co-led by 3one4 Capital, Antler, and Stellaris Venture Partners. The startup plans to utilise the fresh capital to strengthen its product and engineering teams, introduce new interactive formats, and enhance personalisation across its content feed.
Founded in March 2026 by Kaustubh Priye and Supan Shah, dubdub operates a short-form interactive entertainment platform that combines trivia, mini-games, and brain puzzles. Unlike conventional digital platforms that primarily encourage passive content consumption, the application uses a swipe-based interface to engage users through quizzes, games, and interactive challenges.
The platform currently offers content across more than 20 categories, including cricket, Bollywood, general knowledge, pop culture, mythology, and logical reasoning. Furthermore, it leverages artificial intelligence (AI) and user activity data to personalise challenges based on individual interests and engagement patterns.
In addition to individual challenges, dubdub allows users to compete with friends, participate in interactive activities, and compare their scores. Its format centres on short, engaging interactions, encouraging users to answer questions, make guesses, solve puzzles, identify subjects, and predict outcomes through a swipe-based experience.
By bringing together gaming, trivia, and short-form content, dubdub aims to establish an alternative to traditional digital entertainment and content consumption platforms. The company focuses on making online engagement more interactive and participative through quizzes and games.
According to the company, the application has crossed 20,000 downloads since its launch and recorded early user retention rates above the top percentile of casual gaming applications.
With the latest funding, dubdub plans to expand its product development and engineering capabilities while introducing additional interactive formats. Additionally, the startup intends to strengthen its AI-powered personalisation features to deliver content tailored to users’ preferences and engagement behaviour.
The investment will support the company’s broader ambition of building an interactive short-form entertainment platform that combines trivia, puzzles, gaming, and personalised digital experiences.
