Roamiyo launches travel app for seamless trip management

Roamiyo has launched its travel app, positioning it as an all-in-one travel companion that helps users plan itineraries, coordinate with fellow travellers and manage trips while on the move.

Following a private beta involving more than 2,000 users, which recorded a 0% uninstall rate, the company is targeting 600,000 downloads within its first three months and more than one million downloads in its first year across its launch markets. Its immediate priorities include driving user adoption, refining the product, and building a base of recurring users.

The platform brings together Personalised Itinerary Planning, Group Mode and Trip Mode, addressing different stages of the travel journey.

Personalised Itinerary Planning allows users to create customised day-by-day itineraries by entering details such as destination, travel dates, budget, number of travellers and trip type. The platform recommends attractions, activities, restaurants, transport options, and travel times while allowing users to edit or regenerate itineraries as their preferences change.

For group travel, Group Mode provides a shared space where families, friends, and colleagues can collaborate on itineraries, communicate through group chat, create polls, share live locations, split expenses, store travel documents, manage tasks, and use interactive maps. The feature is designed to reduce the back-and-forth involved in coordinating group trips by keeping plans, responsibilities, and expenses in one place.

Once a trip begins, Trip Mode provides live access to the itinerary and allows travellers to rearrange activities, modify schedules, and add new destinations. It also integrates navigation, currency conversion, language translation, weather updates, nearby recommendations, and booking information into the travel experience.

Together, the three features aim to reduce the fragmentation travellers often face when switching between multiple apps to plan and manage a journey.

Roamiyo will operate on a subscription-based model, with new users receiving a 30-day free trial.

“Roamiyo was born from a frustration I experienced personally—the need to move constantly between different apps while planning and managing a trip. We saw an opportunity to bring those scattered moments together. Our vision is simple: to create a travel companion that helps people plan with confidence, stay connected, and adapt easily as their journey unfolds,” said Sumanth Donthi, Director at Emmvee Technologies Private Limited (ETPL).

Roamiyo is part of Emmvee Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (ETPL) and is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for iOS and Android users.
