BusinessNext secures $40 Mn to expand private AI platform

BusinessNext, an autonomous operating platform serving the banking and financial services sector, has raised $40 million in a Series C funding round from ServiceNow, valuing the company at $700 million. The fresh capital will support the company’s next phase of growth as it expands its private AI capabilities and strengthens its presence across the Asia-Pacific region.

The company plans to use the investment to enhance its portfolio of private AI offerings while deepening its collaboration with ServiceNow to deliver advanced solutions for financial institutions across the region.

Commenting on the investment, Nishant Singh, CEO, BusinessNext, said, “Autonomous banking is not a vision we are chasing — it is a category we have been building for years. Today, as AI has matured, this investment will further accelerate our efforts to deliver Private AI solutions, meeting the unique needs of banking and financial services, helping ensure the highest level of security while meeting all regulatory governance frameworks and sovereignty aspects.”

As part of the partnership, BusinessNext will integrate its banking-focused customer relationship management (CRM) and digital lending platform with ServiceNow’s Financial Services Operations (FSO) platform. The combined offering is designed to support financial institutions by managing back-office functions, including case management, complaint resolution and AI-powered workflow automation.

Commenting on the partnership, Kulmeet Bawa, GVP & Managing Director, India & SAARC, ServiceNow, said, “India’s financial services sector is at an inflection point — institutions are moving from digital experimentation to full-scale AI-led operations. ServiceNow’s investment in BusinessNext is a direct bet on that transformation, bringing together deep banking intelligence and enterprise-grade AI orchestration to help Indian banks and insurers move faster.”

The latest funding marks a significant milestone for BusinessNext as it accelerates the development of AI-driven banking solutions while expanding its regional footprint. Backed by ServiceNow, the company is aiming to help banks and financial institutions adopt secure, compliant and AI-enabled operations that support the industry’s evolving digital transformation.
