AgriTech startup Harvested Robotics raises ₹5-Cr in seed funding

Hyderabad-based Harvested Robotics, a startup revolutionizing AI-driven laser weeding technology, has secured ₹5 crores in a seed funding round led by Arali Ventures. The round also saw participation from Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group, and Chakradhar Gade, Co-founder of Country Delight.

Founded in 2023 by Rahul Arepaka and George Mathew, Harvested Robotics is developing an AI-powered laser weeder that attaches to tractors. Using high-tech cameras and AI models, it identifies weeds in real-time and eliminates them with precision laser technology. This chemical-free alternative aims to lower costs, boost yields, and promote organic farming without harming crops.

The startup has raised $21.8K across two funding rounds, including a $12K grant from Kerala Startup Mission in June 2024. The company announced in a press release that the fresh capital will accelerate product development, team expansion, and pilot testing.

By combining robotic hardware with adaptive software, Harvested Robotics offers an affordable, tractor-powered solution to weed control, reducing labor dependency and chemical usage in farming. The innovative technology aims to streamline weed management, making sustainable farming more accessible for farmers.
