Ganpati Group has announced an investment of approximately ₹250 crore to develop a 200-key hotel in Lucknow in partnership with Sheraton Hotels and Resorts. Located in Vibhuti Khand, the project will mark the Group’s entry into branded hospitality.
The development will combine Ganpati Group’s real estate expertise with Sheraton Hotels and Resorts’ hospitality and hotel management capabilities. As part of its broader expansion strategy, the Group aims to add around 800–1,000 hotel keys over the next three to five years.
Hospitality also forms a key component of Ganpati Group’s upcoming development portfolio, which is valued at approximately ₹2,000 crore and spans residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Meanwhile, Lucknow and Visakhapatnam remain among its immediate focus markets.
Commenting on the announcement, Nikhil Agarwal, Managing Director, Ganpati Group, said, “Hospitality is an important pillar of our long-term growth strategy, and our planned ₹250 crore investment in Lucknow, in partnership with Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, reflects our view of the potential of India’s evolving hospitality market. Markets that combine a growing business ecosystem, infrastructure development, and tourism potential offer opportunities for hospitality assets. Lucknow brings these factors together, making it an important market for our expansion. By combining our real estate development capabilities with Sheraton Hotels and Resorts’ hospitality expertise, we aim to contribute to the city’s hospitality infrastructure while building a more diversified portfolio for Ganpati Group.”
The partnership reflects Ganpati Group’s strategy of combining real estate investments with established hospitality brands. Accordingly, the Group plans to expand across business, leisure, and emerging markets, with branded hotels becoming an integral part of its diversified portfolio.
The ₹250 crore investment also highlights the Group’s focus on urban markets supported by commercial activity, infrastructure development, and demand from business and leisure travellers. As Uttar Pradesh’s capital and a major centre for administration, commerce, and services, Lucknow continues to witness infrastructure development and tourism-related growth.
Ganpati Group plans to leverage these market opportunities to expand its hospitality footprint in the city and strengthen its presence in India’s growing hotel sector.
