Lords Hotels & Resorts adds new property in Joshimath, Uttarakhand

Lords Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to open its second property in Joshimath, taking its total portfolio in Uttarakhand to three hotels. Scheduled to open in 2028, the upcoming property marks another step in the group’s expansion across North India.

Situated amid the Garhwal Himalayas, the hotel will offer views of the surrounding mountains, including snow-covered scenery during winter, along with access to a natural spring. Furthermore, the property will combine contemporary amenities with Joshimath’s natural surroundings, catering to travellers exploring the town and nearby destinations.

The 40-room hotel will feature accommodation, a multi-cuisine restaurant, a bar, dedicated yoga rooms, a children’s play area, and parking facilities. These amenities aim to cater to a range of visitors seeking comfort and convenience during their stay.

Joshimath is an important tourism and spiritual destination in Uttarakhand, serving as a gateway to Badrinath, Auli, and the Valley of Flowers. Consequently, the town attracts pilgrims, leisure travellers and visitors interested in Himalayan scenery and outdoor activities.

Pushpendra Bansal, COO, Lords Hotels & Resorts, said, “We thank our new partners for their trust in us, as we continue to collaborate with like-minded owners who believe in our vision. Joshimath offers a unique blend of spirituality and natural beauty. Our expansion here reflects our vision of bringing True Value Hospitality to destinations with immense tourism potential.”

Meanwhile, Kumar Roushan, GM Development & Preopening, added, “This development strengthens our presence in this region. With a focus on delivering quality accommodation and service at attractive prices, the hotel aims to ensure a delightful stay for all our guests visiting this region.”

With this planned opening, Lords Hotels & Resorts aims to strengthen its presence in Uttarakhand while expanding its footprint in destinations with tourism and spiritual significance.
