Dairy startup Sid’s Farm secures Rs 81-Cr to fuel expansion

Hyderabad-based dairy brand Sid’s Farm has raised over Rs 81 crore ($8.4 million) in a pre-Series B funding round led by Omnivore, Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office (NSFO), Dodla Dairy, Next Bharat Ventures and LIO, along with a consortium of other investors.

The latest investment follows the company’s $10 million Series A funding round in June 2024, which Omnivore and Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office (NSFO) co-led after Sid’s Farm secured $1 million in bridge funding from its customers and their referrals in January 2023.

Sid’s Farm plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its supply chain, expand its manufacturing and distribution capabilities, invest in product innovation, deepen partnerships with dairy farmers and enter new markets.

Dr. Kishore Indukuri founded Sid’s Farm in 2016 as a direct-to-consumer dairy brand offering milk and a range of food products. The company said it tests every batch of milk across more than 45 quality and safety parameters and conducts over 10,000 quality tests daily.

The company currently partners with more than 5,000 dairy farmers, supporting them through fair procurement practices, veterinary services and farmer education programmes.

Sid’s Farm serves over 50,000 families across multiple cities and plans to leverage the latest funding to accelerate its next phase of growth while expanding the availability of its dairy products in new markets.

The company competes with Country Delight and Akshayakalpa Organic in India’s direct-to-consumer dairy segment.
