Sunday Hotels has signed an agreement to develop a new 80+ key hotel in Prayagraj, further strengthening its presence in India. Located near the city’s airport, the greenfield project is expected to open within the next two years.
The upcoming property has been designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers while also accommodating meetings, corporate events, weddings and social gatherings.
The hotel will feature more than 80 guest rooms, banquet and wedding venues with a landscaped lawn, dedicated MICE and corporate event facilities, and multiple food and beverage outlets for hotel guests as well as local visitors.
Prayagraj continues to witness significant infrastructure development alongside rising demand driven by religious tourism, weddings, government travel and business activity. Sunday Hotels expects the new property to serve these growing market segments while enhancing the city’s hospitality landscape.
The company said it will work closely with the ownership group throughout the design, development and pre-opening phases to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
The latest signing aligns with Sunday Hotels’ broader expansion strategy to grow its portfolio across India while delivering a consistent guest experience and supporting long-term hotel operations.
