Wyndham Garden to open 155-room hotel in Vrindavan by 2031

Vrinda Villas Hotel and Resorts Pvt Ltd. has signed a franchise agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to develop Wyndham Garden Vrindavan Chhatikara, a 155-room hotel scheduled to open in early 2031.

Once operational, the property will benefit from Wyndham Advantage, the company’s global platform covering distribution, marketing, sales, revenue management, technology, and loyalty capabilities. It will also gain access to Wyndham Rewards, Wyndham’s global loyalty programme with more than 126 million enrolled members. These capabilities will help the hotel reach a wider traveller network, enhance visibility and demand, and support its long-term performance.

The hotel will operate under the Wyndham Garden brand, which offers approachable hospitality across a wide range of destinations. For Vrinda Villas Hotel and Resorts, the franchise combines the property’s distinctive character and destination appeal with Wyndham’s global commercial platform. As a result, the hotel will be positioned to attract travellers from India as well as international markets.

The project will introduce internationally branded accommodation to Vrindavan and cater to pilgrims, families, leisure travellers and groups visiting the destination. Located on Chhatikara Road, the hotel will provide convenient access to Vrindavan’s prominent temples and spiritual landmarks.

Known for its deep association with Lord Krishna, Vrindavan remains an important destination for pilgrimage and cultural tourism in India. The city attracts pilgrims and visitors from across India and overseas throughout the year. Therefore, the new hotel is expected to complement the destination’s expanding hospitality infrastructure with contemporary accommodation and amenities.

Wyndham Garden Vrindavan Chhatikara will feature 155 well-appointed rooms designed to serve both pilgrimage and leisure travellers. The property is also planned to include an all-day dining restaurant offering pure vegetarian cuisine, a swimming pool, expansive banqueting facilities, and contemporary amenities in line with the Wyndham Garden brand.

Vrindavan’s longstanding spiritual importance, expanding visitor economy, and improving connectivity continue to drive accommodation demand across multiple traveller segments. Against this backdrop, Wyndham Garden Vrindavan Chhatikara will offer contemporary rooms, vegetarian dining, leisure facilities, and substantial event and banquet spaces.

The property will further strengthen Vrindavan’s growing branded hospitality landscape while providing visitors with a quality accommodation option close to the city’s key religious and cultural attractions.
