Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has expanded its presence in Uttarakhand with the opening of Cygnett Collection Jim Corbett, a 50-key resort near Ramnagar. The property has also joined Trademark Collection by Wyndham, strengthening the ongoing partnership between Cygnett Hotels & Resorts and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

Located in the Umedpur–Chilkiya area, the resort offers convenient access to Jim Corbett National Park, Ramnagar, and other attractions across the region. The property is positioned to cater to wildlife travellers, families, leisure guests, corporate groups, and visitors attending social events.

Cygnett Collection Jim Corbett features 50 rooms, each measuring around 400 sq. ft. The resort’s facilities include C Pavilion, an all-day dining restaurant serving Indian, regional, and international cuisine, along with an outdoor swimming pool and landscaped outdoor spaces.

The property also has dedicated facilities for meetings and events. Summit, a conference and banquet venue spread across around 3,000 sq. ft., can accommodate up to 250 guests, depending on the event format.

The venue and outdoor areas are designed to host corporate gatherings, destination weddings, and private celebrations, adding an events component to the resort’s leisure offering.

Sarbendra Sarkar, Founder & Managing Director, Cygnett Hotels & Resorts, said the company views Jim Corbett as a leisure market with demand coming from wildlife tourists, families, corporate groups, and guests attending celebrations.

He added that Cygnett Collection is being developed around destination-focused properties with distinct identities while maintaining consistent service and operating standards.

Cygnett Collection Jim Corbett brings together the destination-led character of the property, Cygnett’s hospitality operations, and Wyndham’s distribution network. Its inclusion in Trademark Collection by Wyndham further expands the companies’ collaboration across India and South Asia.

The Cygnett Collection is intended to comprise boutique resorts, heritage conversions, and properties where the destination plays a central role in the guest experience. Instead of adopting a uniform design approach, the hotels retain their individual architectural and local characteristics while following common hospitality standards and Cygnett’s Cygnetture service framework.

Sarkar said Cygnett’s expansion strategy is centred on regional India, where the company sees opportunities driven by spiritual tourism, experiential travel, destination weddings, and infrastructure development.

The latest opening forms part of the company’s broader growth ambitions across India and South Asia. Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has set a target of reaching more than 100 hotels and 10,000 keys by 2030.

With the Jim Corbett property now operational, Cygnett is strengthening its presence in a destination driven by wildlife tourism while expanding the Cygnett Collection portfolio. The resort’s association with Trademark Collection by Wyndham also gives the property access to Wyndham’s distribution network as the two companies continue to broaden their partnership across the region.
