Firstsource Solutions Limited, part of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, has announced the launch of Agentic Marketing Services in collaboration with Typeface, a leading marketing orchestration engine for global enterprises.

With this strategic partnership, the company aims to help enterprises transition from marketing ambition to scalable execution by transforming, implementing, and operating AI-native marketing systems. Moreover, the new offering converts marketing operations into a scalable growth engine, enabling enterprises to achieve measurable top-line revenue growth beyond operational efficiency.

As Agentic AI continues to reshape enterprise strategies, it actively redefines how organizations approach the customer lifecycle, placing marketing content at the core of transformation. Notably, enterprises that deploy AI-driven personalization are witnessing up to 40% higher revenue compared to competitors. At the same time, content operations remain both a critical growth driver and a cost center for CMOs, as nearly 30% of their budgets go toward content creation. However, around 55% of content-related work remains manual—such as resizing, localization, and brand compliance—while nearly 90% of these workflows can now be enabled through AI-powered automation.

“At Firstsource, our approach has been about moving beyond traditional boundaries to build adaptive, intelligence-led ecosystems that deliver measurable outcomes. Content operations is now the most disrupted layer of the modern marketing stack, with Large Language Models reshaping the entire value chain—from ideation and production to governance and distribution—making it both the biggest near-term efficiency opportunity and the most exposed surface area in enterprise marketing,” said Ritesh Idnani, MD and Chief Executive Officer of Firstsource.

Furthermore, the company focuses on delivering end-to-end marketing transformation rather than isolated consulting or siloed agency services. It integrates micro-segmentation, personalization, and industry-specific expertise to help enterprises build intelligent, compliant, and scalable engines for acquisition, engagement, and retention. While Typeface contributes advanced AI technology for generating personalized, on-brand, and compliant content at scale, Firstsource brings deep expertise in customer operations across regulated sectors such as banking, financial services, healthcare, and retail. Consequently, the collaboration enables enterprises to plan, build, and operate modern marketing systems while transforming content operations into a compounding growth engine.

The partnership also expands on Typeface’s recently launched Marketing Orchestration Engine by embedding governed AI systems into full-stack marketing operations tailored for regulated enterprises.

“CEOs and CMOs are not looking for a consultancy that hands off a roadmap or an agency that operates in silos — they want a partner who can transform, implement, and operate marketing systems end-to-end. By combining micro-segmentation, personalization, and deep industry context, we help clients build acquisition, engagement, and retention engines that are intelligent, compliant, and scalable. Typeface brings the AI technology to generate personalized, on-brand, compliant content at scale, and Firstsource brings deep experience in customer operations, especially in regulated industries like banking, financial services, healthcare, and retail. Together, we enable enterprises to plan, build, and run modern marketing — turning content operations into a compounding growth engine and delivering outcomes, not just effort.”

“AI only transforms marketing when it’s embedded into the workflows that drive real customer outcomes,” said Abhay Parasnis, Founder & CEO of Typeface. “Firstsource brings deep industry expertise and operational rigor in highly regulated environments. Together, we’re helping enterprises turn AI ambition into operational reality, embedding governed intelligence into the systems that power durable growth.”

In addition, while Typeface delivers the orchestration layer that unifies brand intelligence, AI agents, and enterprise systems, Firstsource ensures operational excellence by enabling effective decision-making and managing implementation in complex, regulated environments. Together, both organizations redesign how enterprises drive growth by focusing on high-impact customer moments, precise segmentation, and revenue-driven execution. As a result, enterprises can move away from fragmented marketing activities toward scalable and outcome-oriented strategies.

“In retail, seasonality and micro-segmentation are where revenue is won or lost. Every peak moment demands thousands of personalized variants across marketing, service, and customer operations — and the retailers who get this right see real movement on acquisition, conversion, and retention, not just efficiency. What makes the Firstsource–Typeface offering different is that it is not another tool—it is an operating capability. Pairing agentic AI with embedded marketing operations is exactly what retailers need to move from broad campaigns to true lifecycle-driven engagement. For the industry, this is a meaningful step-change in how growth gets engineered,” said Dave Kimbell, ex-CEO of Ulta Beauty and Firstsource Advisory Board Member.

Moreover, the healthcare sector stands to benefit significantly from this innovation, particularly in improving engagement and affordability through compliant AI-driven communication strategies.

“Healthcare payers sit on a real paradox: a huge share of member communication is locked inside PHI and claims workflows where the rules are clear and rightly strict—but the biggest lever on affordability lives outside that envelope, in how payers engage members on wellness, prevention, plan literacy, and proactive disease management. That is a white-space opportunity the industry has barely touched. This is where marketing AI services can genuinely move the needle. With micro-segmentation and agentic content, payers can reach the right member with the right nudge at the right moment — entirely within compliant, non-PHI pathways — and shift the engagement model from acquisition and retention to lifelong wellness. That is how you make healthcare more affordable, improve member experience, and strengthen the economics of the plan at the same time. The Firstsource–Typeface offering is one of the few capabilities purpose-built to operate at that intersection of compliance, personalization, and outcomes,” said Paul Sanford, Ex-EVP Operations, Cigna Group; Firstsource Advisory Board Member.

Firstsource Solutions’ launch of Agentic Marketing Services with Typeface marks a significant advancement in AI-driven marketing transformation. By combining operational expertise with advanced AI orchestration, the partnership enables enterprises to unlock scalable growth, improve customer engagement, and drive measurable revenue outcomes. As enterprises increasingly prioritize AI-powered personalization and compliance, this collaboration positions itself as a critical enabler of next-generation marketing systems and sustainable business growth.
The post Firstsource and Typeface partner to deliver agentic AI marketing services for scalable enterprise revenue growth appeared first on Business Review Live | Business News, Reviews | Entrepreneur Stories, Interviews | Kerala | India.

MadTech and CloudTech company Vertoz Ltd. announced on Wednesday that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 100 percent stake in US-based marketing automation firm Webimax LLC at an enterprise value of USD 6.6 million (around Rs 59 crore).

Moreover, under this agreement, Vertoz Inc., the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, will acquire the New Jersey-based Webimax business in two tranches. It will purchase around 80 percent for Rs 46.8 crore in the first phase and then acquire the remaining 20 percent over the next three years, tied to clearly defined performance milestones, according to the company statement.

Furthermore, the incumbent management of Webimax will continue to work with Vertoz, ensuring operational continuity and expertise retention.

Additionally, the company confirmed that it will fund 75 percent of the purchase consideration through debt provided by one of India’s premier government financial institutions. The remaining 25 percent will come from Vertoz’s internal cash flows, demonstrating the firm’s financial discipline.

Consequently, this acquisition may add approximately USD 9.5 million (Rs 87 crore) to Vertoz’s existing annualized revenues of around Rs 300 crore, while also contributing Rs 17 crore to annualized PAT, Vertoz noted.

Commenting on the acquisition, Ashish Shah, Director, Vertoz Ltd. said, “This acquisition not only strengthens our position in the competitive digital marketing landscape globally but also significantly amplifies our capabilities in the US market. Webimax’s expertise and values align perfectly with ours, enabling us to deliver broader, connected, and more relevant digital solutions to our clients.”

It continues to build its global footprint as a MadTech and CloudTech powerhouse, offering AI-driven solutions across advertising, marketing, media monetization, digital identity, and cloud infrastructure.
The post Vertoz announces acquisition of marketing automation firm Webimax appeared first on Business Review Live | Business News, Reviews | Entrepreneur Stories, Interviews | Kerala | India.

AI-led customer data and engagement platform MoEngage has raised $100 million in a new funding round led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives and A91 Partners, marking a significant milestone in its growth journey. The investment underscores the increasing global demand for next-generation AI-powered marketing technology.

The fresh capital will drive product innovation, support global expansion, and strengthen MoEngage’s presence across North America, SoutheastAsia (SEA), Australia, and New Zealand (ANZ). With this round, the company’s total funding now exceeds $250 million, solidifying its position as a leading player in the AI-driven customer engagement space.

MoEngage plans to use the new funds to scale its Merlin AI suite—a collection of intelligent agents designed to help marketing and product teams make data-backed decisions, automate campaigns, and boost customer conversions.

“Our global momentum, built on our category leadership in Asia, validates that brands are moving beyond legacy marketing clouds,” said Raviteja Dodda, CEO and co-founder of MoEngage. “More than 300 enterprises worldwide have turned to MoEngage for its AI-led agility and ease of use. This investment will fuel our next phase of growth across North America and EMEA, while allowing us to double down on innovation and customer success in our key markets across SEA and ANZ.”

The company currently serves over 1,350 global brands, including SoundCloud, McAfee, Flipkart, Domino’s, Deutsche Telekom, and Travelodge, engaging with over two billion consumers each month.

“MoEngage has been an incredible partner in our growth journey,” said Hope Barrett, Sr. Director of Martech at SoundCloud. “Their platform enabled us to seamlessly migrate more than 120 million users in just 12 weeks and leverage AI-driven insights to accelerate product launches that have strengthened retention across our paid user base.”

“Our investment in MoEngage reflects Goldman Sachs’ commitment to backing category-leading technology platforms that are leveraging AI for serving enterprises globally,” said Rajat Sood, Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. “By leveraging our global network, expertise, and capital, we look forward to helping the company accelerate growth, expand into new markets, and deliver lasting value to its customers.”

Kaushik Anand, Partner at A91 Partners, added, “We have gotten to know the MoEngage team over the last six years and have been impressed by their ability to constantly innovate and expand their product offerings. We are excited to back MoEngage as they look to scale their global customer footprint by empowering marketing and product teams with cutting-edge technology to build and retain customer relationships.”

The SEA and ANZ regions remain key growth frontiers for MoEngage, where digital economies in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand continue to expand. The company partners with top retail, e-commerce, financial services, and telecom brands to deliver personalized, omnichannel customer experiences.

Its regional clientele includes Kredivo, Alfamart, Blibli, XL Axiata, Trust Bank, GoTyme, Robinsons Retail Holdings, RedONE, RupaRupa, Atome, Home Credit, CIMB Bank, Stan Entertainment, 13Cabs, Canstar, TFE Hotels, Nine Entertainment, NOVA Entertainment, and Beforepay.

Globally, MoEngage works with iconic brands like 7-Eleven, Adidas, Coca-Cola, Starbucks, Samsung, Domino’s, Pizza Hut, KFC, and Nestlé. Avendus acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the company and its shareholders.

Qoruz, a Bengaluru-based creator intelligence and collaboration platform, has raised $500,000 in funding from The Chennai Angels as part of its ongoing $1 million pre-Series A round. The round also attracted investment from senior marketing executives, agency heads, and entrepreneurs from the media and advertising sectors.

Previously, the startup secured ₹4.5 crore in seed funding from Dexter Angels and the IIM Indore Alumni Fund.

According to a press release, Qoruz will use the fresh capital to enhance its AI capabilities, expand into new industry verticals, and strengthen its global footprint—particularly in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Founded in 2014 by Praanesh Bhuvaneswar, Prabakaran B, Aditya Gurwara, and Priya Vivek, Qoruz enables brands to discover, assess, and collaborate with creators in a data-driven, structured manner. The platform aims to turn influencer marketing into a measurable and strategic channel, moving beyond traditional intuition-based approaches.

“We’re not just building a platform, we’re building an ecosystem for the creator economy, where creators are central to how products are discovered, trusted, and bought. For this to scale meaningfully, it needs more than connections; it needs infrastructure. This capital allows us to deepen that foundation and bring operational precision to a space that has long operated on instinct,” said Praanesh Bhuvaneswar, co-founder and CEO of Qoruz.

Looking ahead, Qoruz aims to achieve $30 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by 2026, with plans to grow enterprise client adoption at a rate of 3x year-over-year. Furthermore, the company claims that over 1,000 brands and agencies—including Amazon, Flipkart, Jiostar, Dabur, L’Oréal, and Coca-Cola—have already adopted its platform to support and scale their creator marketing initiatives.
The post Qoruz raises $500,000 in pre-Series A round to boost influencer marketing tech appeared first on Business Review Live | Business News, Reviews | Entrepreneur Stories, Interviews | Kerala | India.

D2C skincare brand Foxtale secured $18 million (around ₹150 crore) in funding. Singapore’s Panthera Growth Partners led this Series B round. Existing investors Matrix Partners India and Kae Capital also participated.

IndigoEdge was Foxtale’s exclusive financial advisor on this transaction.

The fresh funds will fuel Foxtale’s growth plans, which include expanding its online presence and launching new product lines.

“At present, we are generating Rs 250 crore gross revenue and will be hitting profitability in FY25. So, the series B round will be used to further augment our growth, for profitability, and for taking Foxtale from a Rs 250 crore to a Rs 1,000 crore brand, ” she said.

“We’ve already hit profitability post-marketing expenses and by this fiscal end, we are eyeing 5 per cent EBITDA profitability,” she added.

Foxtale will be expanding its product portfolio beyond skincare. In July, they’ll be launching 4 new items (SKUs). By December, they plan to introduce another beauty and personal care (BPC) category.

“We plan to introduce 4 more SKUs by the next fiscal end in the bodycare category. Within the first year of operations, we expect this category to be profitable and contribute Rs 45 crore towards the revenue,” she said.

The brand currently has 18 items (SKUs) and aims to reach 25 by the end of the fiscal year, expanding into body care alongside its existing skincare range.

Their sales channels are also diverse: 12% comes from offline stores, 38% from online marketplaces, and 50% from their website.

“Digital is growing 20 percent month-on-month for us,” she asserted.

Currently, the brand has a presence in 2,500 general trade stores across seven cities in India.

“Last fiscal, we cut down our offline presence from 3,000 stores in 12 cities to our current presence because of working capital burns. We decided to go ahead with the stores that were clocking high revenue. As a result, our digital revenue grew faster than we were expecting, and that’s why we ended up meeting our fiscal year numbers as expected,” she explained.

The brand, which closed the last fiscal at Rs 172 crore GMV sales, is eyeing Rs 400 crore plus this fiscal.
The post D2C skincare brand Foxtale raises $18M in Series B funding appeared first on Business Review Live | Business News, Reviews | Entrepreneur Stories, Interviews | Kerala | India.
